We're looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in Oakdale, California! The Oakdale Plant, home to Hunt's Tomatoes, encompasses over 800 employees and sits on over 22 acres of land. You will report to the Plant Engineering Manager and join a team of 7 other engineering professionals.
You will lead project teams to deliver capital investment projects that align with business strategies, follow structured guidelines, company policies, and deliver the highest value asset allocation. You will lead projects simultaneously within the facility.
Position Responsibilities
+ You'll collaborate with multiple levels of plant leadership to lead projects
+ You will travel approximately 10% of the time to other company locations, vendors and suppliers to complete projects.
+ External interaction will include, however, not limited to, equipment vendors, construction contractors, engineering services contractors, local / state / federal government agencies, and co-manufacturing organizations.
+ You will have a fundamental understanding of a food manufacturing environment, a technical knowledge of processes and equipment and basic Project Management skills that can be applied to developing and leading low complexity projects.
+ You will need to manage small design teams for multiple projects with a staffing of about of 6-8 engineering professionals (may be a combination of internal and consulting engineers).
+ Project values will range from $100M to $2MM and could be bigger depending on the complexity
+ Complete assigned projects by using structured engineering work flow process.
+ Ensure that all project planning, deliverables, reporting, and spending forecasts are managed and that all projects are delivered within cost, schedule and performance success criteria. You are expected to independently manage projects from beginning to end
Position Qualifications
+ BS in Engineering or 5+ years of Maintenance Experience leading Capital Projects
+ 2+ years of Capital Project Experience
+ Technical knowledge of manufacturing systems and equipment
Compensation:
Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000
_The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees._
