    KidsPeace Childrens Hospital (Schnecksville, PA)


    Purpose:

    To install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on heating ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. Oversee Facility Building Automation Equipment operation and repair.

    Job Duties / Essential Functions

    1. Monitor and adjust building automation programming to include HVAC, lighting, and door controls.

    2. Basic repairs to all equipment related to building automation equipment.

    3. Properly design and size an HVAC&R system.

    4. Troubleshoot and repair, or replace HVAC&R components as necessary.

    5. Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.

    6. Assist with snow removal.

    7. Respond to after hour emergencies as required; Carry and respond to a departmental phone as necessary.

    8. Perform clerical tasks related to the position, (EPA regulations) as required and necessary.

    9. Perform all other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor, or his designee.

    10. All other duties as assigned by management.

    Qualifications (Education, Training and Experiences)

    1. High School Graduate or equivalent; Graduate of an HVAC&R Vocational Technical Training Program required.

    2. Minimum of 3 years experience in the HVAC&R trade and building automation operation preferred.

    3. EPA Certification for proper refrigerant practices required.

    4. Valid state driver's license required.

    5. Must be at least 18 years of age.
