Job Title: Material Movement Specialist

**Location:** Newton, NC

**Pay:** Starting at $18.50 per hour

**Shift:** 3rd Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 2-3-2 Rotating Schedule

Overview:

Our client, a leading manufacturing company in the Newton area, is seeking a **Material Movement Specialist** to support the Logistics Department and Operations Team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and a collaborative work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

+ **Forklift and Clamp Truck Operation:** Safely operate forklifts and clamp trucks, including performing required pre-shift inspections.

+ **Inventory Monitoring:** Track inventory levels on production lines to prevent shortages or downtime.

+ **Communication and Quality Control:** Report any quality issues, equipment concerns, or safety hazards promptly to supervisors.

+ **Shipping and Receiving:** Pick up, stretch wrap, and stage finished goods for shipment. Receive and process incoming materials.

+ **Waste Management:** Assist in baling production waste and maintain accurate documentation of parent rolls and waste.

Qualifications:

+ Prior experience operating lift trucks or forklifts preferred.

+ Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

+ Comfortable working in a team environment and taking direction.

+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

+ Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
