Chart Industries Company is currently seeking for an on-site Aftermarket Application Engineer based in Beasley, TX. This role supports in the design, development and modification of computer _applications_ and programs. Write technical specifications to design or redesign computer solutions. Participate in overall systems testing.
_What Will You Do?_
• Determine scope of work for a project. Prepare project documentation such as technical specifications, proposals, pricing and schedules for turbo-expanders, turbo-compressors and related equipment while ensuring total customer satisfaction.
• Train and assist customers as needed on a technical level.
• Some domestic and international trips may be required.
_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…_
A mixer of office, shop and field environments.
_Your Experience Should Be..._
• Experience in Rotating equipment.
• Strong Mechanical technical aptitude.
• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related Technical degree.
• 1-3+ year’s experience in bid/proposal preparation and the ability to read and understand technical and commercial specifications.
• Competent in reading technical drawings including P&IDs & Wiring Diagrams
• Experience with API & ASME codes.
• Expertise in Gas Dynamics / Auxiliary System Design / Control & Electrical or Mechanical Design a big plus.
• Knowledge of computer software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, ACT.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas is a plus.
• Experience in Risk Assessment analysis a plus.
• Strong communication skills to interface with internal personnel and external customers.
• Self starter who can work independently.
