Senior Accountant Position Overview

As the Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity for our client while ensuring all financial activities comply with international accounting standards. Your expertise will be integral to driving accurate financial reporting, streamlining processes, and partnering with cross-functional teams across global operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

+ Oversee and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

+ Assist with preparation of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP / IFRS as appropriate.

+ Identify opportunities for process and system improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

+ Support audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to inquiries from both external and internal audit teams.

+ Review and reconcile complex accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate and well-documented.

+ Maintain a deep understanding of accounting standards, implementing new regulations and leading the adoption of updated practices across teams.

+ Act as a liaison with global business units to harmonize accounting processes across international operations.

+ Assist leadership with ad hoc analysis and special projects, including financial systems upgrades and expansions.

Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.

+ 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a global or multinational organization.
