Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee financial operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This role involves managing key accounting functions, preparing financial reports, and implementing effective internal controls. Based in Louisville, Kentucky, this position plays a critical role in supporting the company's financial health and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting functions, including billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and revenue recognition.

• Prepare and review journal entries for month-end reconciliations, covering assets, liabilities, and other key accounts.

• Develop and enforce internal controls to maintain the accuracy and reliability of financial data.

• Manage fixed asset accounting, including depreciation schedules and reporting.

• Supervise cash flow activities, monitoring balances and ensuring proper funding allocation.

• Execute payroll processes on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions, and intercompany balances to ensure accuracy.

• Coordinate tax filings and compliance, working closely with external tax advisors and preparing necessary documentation.

• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and precise financial reporting.

• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial statement analysis. Requirements • A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or financial management.

• Proficiency in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close processes.

• Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and general ledger reconciliations.

• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and other accounting software.

• Familiarity with tax compliance requirements at local, state, and federal levels.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on financial data.

• Strong organizational and leadership abilities to support and guide the finance team.
