onsemi’s Core-Analog IP Center of Excellence is hiring an experienced Mixed Signal IC design engineer to help us develop IP for next generation Automotive, Industrial & Medical products. The successful candidate will participate in the design of complex CMOS integrated circuits and have familiarity with analog blocks such as bandgaps, amplifiers, filters, precision comparators, LDOs, oscillators, PLLs etc.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
+ Build Behavioral Model of analog IPs in Real-Number System Verilog
+ Validate Behavioral Model against the published specification
+ Develop and execute testbenches and verification plans for mixed-signal ICs using Verilog/SystemVerilog.
+ Perform functional and behavioral modeling of analog and digital blocks.
+ Work closely with analog and digital designers to understand design specifications and corner cases.
+ Participate in code reviews, test plan development, coverage analysis, and bug tracking.
+ Automate regression testing and contribute to continuous integration of verification environments
+ Debug and analyze failures from simulation results and lab measurements.
+ Must have a working knowledge of Cadence Circuit design tools.
+ Analytical approach to problem solving is required.
+ Work diligently with the given requirements to accomplish project goals and meet schedule requirements.
+ Debug of complex integrated circuit problems in the laboratory. Collaborate in debug efforts as needed.
+ Analyze design aspects related to DFT and collaborate with other team members to develop DFT strategy for block designs.
+ Document designs including architecture and circuit descriptions, testing procedures, and safety mechanisms.
+ Interface with test, product, and applications engineering to drive the design to a successful production release.
