Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in React Redux React Native Python and related frameworks. This role involves developing innovative solutions in a hybrid work model focusing on Life and Annuities Insurance. The position does not require travel and operates during day shifts.

Responsibilities

+ Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using React Redux and React Native to enhance user experience.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable software solutions.

+ Utilize Python and frameworks such as Flask and Django to build robust backend services.

+ Ensure code quality and maintainability through regular code reviews and testing.

+ Optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.

+ Participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept to deployment.

+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

+ Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.

+ Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for new features.

+ Implement best practices for security and data protection in all applications.

+ Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

+ Collaborate with the QA team to ensure high-quality deliverables.

+ Engage in problem-solving and troubleshooting to resolve complex technical issues.

Qualifications

+ Possess strong expertise in React Redux and React Native for front-end development.

+ Demonstrate proficiency in Python with experience in Flask and Django frameworks.

+ Have a solid understanding of iPython and Flask Python for backend development.

+ Experience in Life and Annuities Insurance domain is a plus.

+ Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

+ Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.

+ Display strong communication and collaboration skills.

Certifications Required

Certified Python Developer React Professional Certification

Job Location: North Carolina

The annual salary for this position is between $65 - 110k depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
