Job Purpose
Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of complex inspections in the production/assembly process. Follows general inspection guidelines to conduct critical non-routine as well as repetitive visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on a wide variety of component boards and assemblies. Ability to hand solder components for touch up, rework, wire, follow ECN instruction by using soldering stations and SRT/BGA repair machines. Must be flexible to support a small company’s goals and may have other duties as assigned by manager. Monday to Friday Day shift. $22 to $25/hr DOE.
Duties and responsibilities
+ Ability to hand solder components for touch up/Rework using soldering stations.
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints, wiring diagrams, and test procedures.
+ Working knowledge of inspection techniques and instruments, specification interpretation and quality control terminology.
+ Complies with IPC-A-610D standards and must be able to perform PCB repairs, using scopes.
+ Other duties as assigned by management
+ Operate BGA rework equipment to remove & replace BGA & QFN Components processes and procedures for assembly, rework, and inspection.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve BGA-related issues in production, including defects and failures.
+ Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to BGA Technology.
+ Maintain Scheduled workload and timelines
+ Skilled at soldering and board rework (surface mount & thru-hole technology with fine pitch devices.
+ Other duties as assigned by management
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
+ High School Diploma or Equivalent
+ Minimum of three years of increasingly difficult rework experience.
+ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to BGA technology.
+ 3+ years consistently working with BGA,SMT processes, equipment, and materials
+ In-depth knowledge of BGA rework techniques, equipment, and materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in BGA rework and assembly processes.
**Pay Details:** $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
