    Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 4+ years of cash application experience and possess an AA degree or equivalent accounting experience. You will play a crucial role in our finance department, ensuring accurate and timely application of customer payments.

    Responsibilities

    + Apply a high volume of customer payments received via Lockbox, mail, EFT, and credit cards with a high degree of accuracy on a daily basis.

    + Prepare and distribute daily cash receipts reports to various offices.

    + Reconcile daily cash receipts to bank entries.

    + Research entries posted to Unapplied Cash.

    + Respond to cash receipt inquiries from various offices.

    + Respond to various email inquiries from customers and/or other departments in a timely manner.

    + Ensure all cash receipts are in balance with Bank Ledger entries at month-end.

    + Assist with other projects when necessary.

    Essential Skills

    + 1 to 3+ years of cash application experience.

    + AA degree or accounting experience.

    + Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.

    + Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    + Strong communication skills with customers and team members.

    + Customer service skills.

    + Time management and organization skills.

    + Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Basic Excel skills; no pivots or lookups required.

    + Experience with ERP systems like Dynamics, open to others.

    Work Environment

    Our work environment is dynamic, offering lots of growth opportunities as the position is open due to expansion. You will work with a team that posts approximately 700 payments per day, and you will be responsible for posting around 350 payments daily. The role does not involve collections, which are handled by a separate team. The position offers competitive market-based salary and benefits including healthcare, dental, and vision coverage, 401K, and PTO. You will work full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
