    Collections Specialist

     

    Job Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

     

    Pay Rate: $23-25/hour

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Collections Specialist to join our team in Pawcatuck, CT. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity offering a dynamic work environment and the chance to grow within a supportive team.     Key Responsibilities:

    + Make collection calls and send follow-up emails to clients.

    + Reconcile aging reports using Epicor and Excel.

    + Respond to client inquiries via email and voicemail.

    + Perform billing collections and maintain accurate records.

    + Utilize Excel functions such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables for reporting and analysis.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Minimum2 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).

    + Experience with Epicor or similar ERP systems.

    + Strong communication and organizational skills.

    Preferred Skills:

    + Background in billing collections.

    + Familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOPs) in AR.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
