    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    The Maintenance Technician role involves repairing, adjusting, and maintaining equipment daily, directly impacting customer satisfaction and profitability. This position requires Forklift Certification and adherence to safe work practices, correct lifting techniques, and proper body mechanics due to its physical demands.

    Responsibilities

    + Prioritize and complete work orders as assigned, following directives from the Maintenance Supervisor.

    + Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment.

    + Maintain and repair all production equipment.

    + Troubleshoot production equipment using PLC systems.

    + Edit programs to accommodate new procedures on existing equipment, including conveyors or stacking machinery.

    + Change motors and read electrical schematics.

    + Install and repair plumbing systems.

    + Splice conveyor belts and rebuild gear boxes.

    + Perform pneumatic and hydraulic repairs.

    + Install or move machinery and repair hot melt units.

    + Complete general electrical and mechanical repairs.

    + Conduct building maintenance repairs.

    Essential Skills

    + Electrical, mechanical, and PLC troubleshooting experience.

    + Preventive maintenance skills.

    + Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.

    + A High School Diploma or equivalent.

    + At least 7 years of relevant work experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to evaluate design flaws and implement corrective actions.

    + Knowledge of robotic/CNC systems and secondary automation devices.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    + Ability to develop operating and maintenance manuals for equipment.

    + Capability to develop preventive maintenance requirements and schedules.

    + Basic math and engineering skills for designing or modifying equipment.

    The job is situated in a manufacturing warehouse environment, with typical exposure to conditions such as heat, cold, fumes, chemicals, allergens, and mold.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverside, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $36.00/hr.
