Job Title: Saw Operator

Job Description

As a Saw Operator, you will play a crucial role in our custom stone fabrication process, working Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You will be responsible for loading, programming, and offloading our sawjet system using overhead cranes in a hands-on role that requires a strong work ethic, a team-oriented mindset, and a desire to grow within a skilled trade.

Responsibilities

+ Operate saws and related equipment to cut stone to specifications.

+ Load and unload slabs using overhead cranes.

+ Read and follow blueprints, templates, and cutting plans.

+ Perform quality checks and routine maintenance of equipment.

+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

+ Communicate with team members to meet production goals.

Essential Skills

+ Interest in learning and working in a team environment.

+ Ability to follow standard procedures and safety protocols.

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Experience in stone, manufacturing, fabrication, or construction is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Forklift experience preferred.

+ Ability to lift and move 80+ lbs regularly.

+ Comfortable standing for long periods.

+ Experience with saw operation, general labor, manufacturing, production, machine operation, construction, blueprint reading, and fabrication.

Work Environment

Work in a clean production shop that is wet due to water involved in the cutting process. Be prepared for a shop environment with dust, noise, and machinery. Must be able to work on your feet.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
