Entry-Level Laboratory Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing a wide range of samples using advanced physical and chemical analytical techniques. Key Responsibilities

+ Perform chemical and microbiological analyses using sophisticated instrumentation such as:

+ pH meters, densitometers, viscometers, spectrophotometers, HPLC, GC, ICP, IC, and more.

+ Conduct microbiological tests including spore counts and contamination assessments.

+ Operate laboratory information systems including STARLiMS and Waters Empower.

+ Search databases for test methods, specifications, and standards.

+ Record, calculate, and report analytical results promptly and accurately.

+ Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 18001 standards.

+ Calibrate instruments and perform routine inspections.

+ Maintain lab cleanliness, manage supplies, and dispose of waste properly.

+ Train others on waste management and safety protocols.

+ Review analytical data and collaborate with team members to resolve issues.

+ Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

+ Understand and comply with RCRA hazardous waste regulations.

Qualifications

+ Minimum: High school diploma with relevant laboratory experience.

+ Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field with laboratory experience.

+ Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

+ Ability to troubleshoot instrumentation and assist others.

+ Effective oral and written communication skills.

+ Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
