Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Coordinator in Knoxville, TN to support the operational aspects of research studies. This role involves a variety of tasks including recruitment, data collection, data management, and reporting of results.
Responsibilities
+ Recruit and obtain consent from research participants.
+ Conduct telephone or in-person interviews with participants, including screening for eligibility.
+ Perform follow-up activities with study participants via telephone, email, and mail.
+ Prepare, mail, and process questionnaires and other study correspondence.
+ Assist in tracking study participants using MS Excel.
+ Maintain accurate and detailed records and files of work.
+ Review, edit, clean, and enter participant data into a database.
+ Assist with literature reviews for proposal submissions and manuscript preparation.
+ Manage bookkeeping tasks related to study budgets, including ordering supplies, requesting checks for payment, and participant incentives.
+ Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks such as typing labels, copying, faxing, meeting preparation, note-taking, and transcribing audio files.
Essential Skills
+ High school diploma or General Education Development (GED).
+ Experience with chart review, patient recruitment, EDC, EMR, clinical research, and GCP.
+ Customer service experience.
+ Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft programs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Tech savvy.
+ Interest in growing within the field of clinical research.
+ Data entry skills.
Work Environment
The role requires working five days on-site at locations in Knoxville, TN. Employees will have the opportunity to work with one of the leading healthcare providers in the US, contributing to clinical research trials in a professional and supportive environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
