Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to support our dermatology practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for rooming patients, documenting vital information, providing post-operative wound care instructions, drawing blood, and assisting with patient scheduling and other administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
+ Room patients and document all vital information accurately.
+ Scribe information for the dermatologist during patient consultations.
+ Provide comprehensive post-operative wound care instructions to patients.
+ Draw blood for laboratory tests and procedures.
+ Maintain cleanliness and stock exam rooms effectively.
+ Schedule patient appointments efficiently.
+ Assist dermatologists with surgical photographs, biopsies, and patch testing, while being present in the room.
Essential Skills
+ Certified Medical Assistant certification required.
+ 1-3 years of experience as a CMA or MA.
+ Proficiency in medical terminology and patient intake.
+ Strong skills in appointment scheduling and customer service.
+ Ability to check vitals and draw blood accurately.
+ Experience in medical scribing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma required.
+ Experience in health care and triage.
Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
