Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker in an auto parts distribution facility, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations across various sections of the warehouse. You'll be part of a team that distributes bulk items to stores globally and manages an E-Commerce section that serves individual customers.

Responsibilities

+ Move around the warehouse and adapt to different sections and tasks throughout the day.

+ Be flexible and ready to be pulled into different departments as needed.

+ Engage in cross-training to adapt to various roles within the warehouse.

+ Utilize a pick list and RF scan gun in the E-Commerce section to pull specific items for packaging and shipping.

+ Work with computers to document processes and ensure accuracy.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in warehouse picking.

+ Forklift operation skills.

+ Inventory management expertise.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous warehouse experience.

+ Basic computer skills.

+ Ability to learn new tasks and be cross-trained.

+ Physical capability to move throughout a large warehouse, involving extensive walking.

Work Environment

Work in a spacious warehouse setting with a weekend shift schedule from Saturday to Tuesday, 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Be prepared for a physically active role, involving substantial walking and interaction with modern warehouse technology.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Branford, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
