Job Title: Class A CDL Driver

Job Description

Begin your day typically at 7am, though start and end times may vary based on business needs, demands, and shipping routes. Expect a combination of day-to-day driving and occasional over-the-road (OTR) trips requiring 1-2 overnight stays weekly. Your routes will cover territories including MI, PA, IN, KY, and AL, with weekday schedules and potential weekend deliveries as part of the OTR/overnight commitments.

Responsibilities

+ Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.

+ Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.

+ Handle loading and unloading of cargo.

+ Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

+ Manage shipping routes and schedules for timely deliveries.

Essential Skills

+ Possession of a valid Class A CDL.

+ Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in truck driving.

+ Hazmat certification.

+ Air brake endorsement.

+ Strong understanding of DOT regulations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Customer service skills.

+ Experience in loading and unloading trucks.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled environment. You will be home nightly except for 1-2 nights a week, with full expense reimbursement and a $60/day per diem for overnight stays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
