Job Description
The Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting and evaluating tanks quickly and accurately. You will diagnose and troubleshoot material, mechanical, and electrical failures. The role requires developing and coordinating project work scopes, complete with tasks and parts lists, and conducting routine and special inspections as needed. You will need to understand systems with the ability to trace and install complex components such as engines, pumps, and motors. Additionally, you will read and interpret maintenance manuals and service bulletins to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing components, and maintain schedule reports, repair logs, and other project documentation.
Responsibilities

There is a partnership with Blackhawk Tech for entry-level welders to receive training specifically in welding, quality, shop math, and team building. Tuition reimbursement up to $5000 per year is available with passing grades. Employees are reimbursed for a new weld helmet once they go direct. The company offers weekly pay and has a low $500 deductible for insurance.
Work Environment
The work environment includes a 1st shift schedule from Monday through Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm. Employees are currently working 45 hours per week, with the option to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday if desired. Fridays usually involve 4-5 hours of mandatory overtime. The facility will be getting a new facility in two years.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beloit, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
