Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on all plant equipment. You will work off a tablet for your assigned 'tickets.' You will inspect, repair, and install machinery as needed, and will be required to work off blueprints if involved in installations. Every other Wednesday, the maintenance team focuses on preventative maintenance (PMs), during which the rest of the plant is shut down. Occasionally, you will work with pipe installations and repairs.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot mechanical issues

+ Repair and perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment

+ Inspect, repair, and install machinery as needed

+ Work off blueprints for installations

+ Perform pipe installations and repairs

+ Complete PM documentation accurately

+ Order parts needed for repairs correctly

+ Work directly with the supervisor to ensure maintenance tasks are completed

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance position

+ Ability to complete the maintenance Bennett Mechanical Comprehension Test

+ Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical issues

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
