    Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician

    Job Details:

    Duties include installation, troubleshooting, and repair of PLC's. Proactively maintains all plant electrical systems, all equipment electronics, motors, drives and other power transmission systems. This position also has the responsibility to perform any and all mechanical and electrical tasks as assigned. This location takes great pride in their safety record and has won many company awards for having a perfect safety record.

     

    Shift - 1st - 7:30am - 4:00PM Monday - Friday

    Essential Skills:

    + Associates Degree in Electronics or equivalent training.

    + Fundamentals of PLCs, Programming Controllers, Troubleshooting and Repair of PLCs.

    + Five years of practical electronics experience, or a strong knowledge of PLCs with slightly less experience.

    + Ability to troubleshoot and make adjustments to PLC programs.

    + Industrial mechanical and electrical experience.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $75379.00 - $84510.00/yr.

     

    Medical/Dental/Vision – eligible on day 1

     

    Vacation eligible first year (pro-rated); second year 80 hours (willing to negotiate vacation in offer)

     

    Floating Holiday eligible first year (pro-rated); second year 24 hours

    Paid Holidays (time and half for all hours worked on Company observed federal holiday)

    401K matching up to 4%; annual employer contribution 3% (if employee contributes 4%, Westlake will match that plus the 3% they already contribute. Total of 11%)

     

    Quarterly Incentive Program – earn up to 8% of quarterly earnings (includes OT)

     

    Annual Profit Sharing up to 5% of annual base pay

     

    Life Insurance - employer cover up to 2x base pay

    AD&D insurance - employer cover up to 2x base pay
