We are seeking a **Pre-Analytical Services Associate** to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business in **Valencia, CA.**

Job Summary:

Support laboratory operations by accurately processing and managing specimen receipt to ensure timely and efficient workflow in compliance with regulatory standards.

What you’ll be doing:

+ Assist with receipt, verification, and documentation of clinical specimen consignments and shipments.

+ Open shipments and conduct quality checks on patient information forms, escalating discrepancies or damaged shipments as needed.

+ Ensure proper disposal and recycling of kit shipping supplies while conducting secondary checks of packaging.

+ Support response to after-hour alarms and job-critical functions.

+ Maintain laboratory equipment and assist with routine inventory supply tracking and organization.

+ Perform various administrative duties, ensuring work area organization and cleanliness.

+ Handle receipt of compounds and control material based on functional area requirements.

+ Follow all safety procedures, regulatory guidelines, and company protocols.

What We Are Looking For:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent.

+ Basic computer skills for documentation and workflow reporting.

+ Ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and workflow control.

+ Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed for This Role:

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, and close eye work requirements (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.

+ Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and escalate appropriately.

+ Organizational skills to maintain accurate records and specimen tracking.

+ Effective communication and collaboration skills with coworkers, managers, and clients.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $33,600.00 - $56,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
