What will you do as an Ultrasound Technologist?

+ Perform a variety of ultrasound exams and produce diagnostic-quality images

+ Prepare detailed patient worksheets for radiologist review

+ Maintain all required certifications and licensure (RVT or RDMS required)

+ Ensure patient safety and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)

+ Communicate effectively and provide excellent patient service

+ Support department operations including supply management and compliance

+ Assist with special projects and promote smooth patient flow

What do you need to be an Ultrasound Technologist?

Education and Experience Requirements

+ Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program

+ Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience preferred

+ Current RVT or RDMS certification required

+ Strong communication and multitasking skills

+ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:

+ Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.,

+ Perform repetitive tasks such as data entry

+ Remain mobile and stationary as needed for long periods.

Salary Range: $36.07-54.10/hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
