    Summary

    The Administrative Coordinator is a member of the Administrative team whose primary responsibility is to coordinate various administrative tasks, processes, and activities spanning the various divisions of the school. The Administrative Coordinator works closely with the Director of Administration to set priorities and manage workflows for the operational aspects of the institution. This includes but is not limited to: planning and executing professional development activities for faculty and staff, coordinating with vendors to procure bids, providing administrative support to academic programs, managing projects and ensuring timely deliverables, and handling other administrative tasks as assigned.

    Duties and Performance Objectives

    + Provide comprehensive support to the Director of Administration, institutional departments, and academic programs by managing projects, preparing materials, and coordinating internal communications.

    + Maintain accurate records of administrative activities and meeting notes.

    + Coordinate logistics and follow-through for cross-functional workflows and initiatives.

    + Evaluate and recommend improvements to administrative and support processes to enhance efficiency, consistency, and service quality.

    + Plan, coordinate, and track faculty and staff professional development activities, including scheduling, communication, vendor coordination, logistics, and post-event evaluation.

    + Align professional development offerings with institutional goals and individual employee development plans.

    + Track and coordinate employee performance goals and annual evaluations, working with department leads to ensure timely completion and proper documentation.

    + Solicit and organize vendor bids, assist with selection processes, and coordinate procurement activities.

    + Backfill administrative or student-facing roles to provide coverage as needed.

    + Establish, meet, and maintain all performance goals and expectations required to effectively support the institution's operational goals. Provide feedback to the Director of Administration about successes, challenges and areas of improvement.

    + Attend departmental meetings, graduation ceremonies and other school events as required.

    + Foster an education environment that is conducive to learning, respect, integrity, professionalism and teamwork.

    + Adhere to all requirements from the schools accrediting agency, state agencies, federal agencies and school policies.

    + Perform other duties as requested by the Director of Administration.

    Qualifications

    + A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

    + Two or more years of experience in an administrative or operational support capacity.

    + Exhibits professionalism, strong work ethics, honesty, integrity, courtesy and respect in all dealings with students, parents, guests, or others with whom the school conducts business.

    + Familiarity and comfort working with various web-based applications and common business software.

    + Sound judgment and reasoning skills to problem solve.

    + Clear and concise communication skills.

    + Ability to quickly learn new skills.

    + Detail oriented, organized and able to prioritize tasks efficiently.

    Work Schedule

    + 40 Hours/week

    + Mondays-Thursdays 10am-7pm and Fridays 9am-6pm (Except Holidays)

    Benefits Summary

    + Paid Sick Leave: 40 hours of paid sick leave for each calendar year

    + Paid Vacation: 40 hours of paid vacation for the first year of employment, followed by 80 hours of paid vacation for the second year of employment onward. Vacation hours are accrued each term following the 90 day introductory period.

    + Paid Holidays: Total of 7 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, eligible after the 90 day introductory period.

    + Health Insurance: The school offers both PPO and HMO insurance plans where up to $380 of the monthly insurance premium is covered by the school.

    + 401(k): Following the first year of employment and 1000 hours of services, employees may participate in the school's 401(k) plan.
