    A Day in the Life

     

    As an Analyst, DMI Finance Controlling for the 4 Divisions within L'Oréal's BEST SG&A team in Tampa, FL, you will report to the Manager, BEST SG&A. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to launch your finance career within a dynamic, global organization. You will be a key contributor to the financial health of L'Oréal Corporate, working closely with business stakeholders and finance leaders. You will gain valuable experience in understanding business operations and leveraging financial insights to influence key strategic decisions. Your responsibilities will include:

     

    + Financial Planning & Analysis: Preparing, analyzing, and reviewing month-end close, trends, and budget data. Assisting in the preparation of presentations for senior management. Providing risk and opportunity analysis to senior management.

    + Business Partnering: Providing analytical support and business advice to enable better decision-making. Working cross-functionally to drive process improvements and create value. Performing ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.

     

    We Are Looking For

     

    The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in finance and a proven ability to analyze data, coupled with a proactive and results-oriented approach. You are a highly effective communicator, capable of building strong relationships with cross-functional teams. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

     

    + Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

    + Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and presentation.

    + Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Excel, familiarity with financial systems and tools (experience with SAP and Power BI is a plus).

    + Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Business Partnering: Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

    + Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

    + Experience: 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or accounting.
