This position is located at Central Office in St. Paul and may have the flexibility to telework, work a hybrid schedule, or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent will be expected to work in the office as determined by policy and discussion with their supervisor.
You will provide professional consultation, facilitation, outreach, and education pertaining to the Department’s environmental review program. You will provide administration of environmental review policies, procedures and standards, and provide essential services to MnDOT Districts/Divisions for planning and project development/construction statewide. These services relate to incorporating complex environmental, social and economic considerations and requirements (substantive as well as procedural) into MnDOT projects and providing professional scientific and technical guidance and assistance to the Districts, Central Office functional groups, and various internal and external policy groups.

Minimum Qualifications
Two (2) years of advanced professional experience in all of the following bulleted area below:
+ **Experience reviewing and consulting on National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the Minnesota Environmental Policy Act (MEPA);**
+ **Experience analyzing and consulting on natural resource items such as: wildlife biology, aquatic biology, wetlands and water quality.**
+ **Experience researching, analyzing and writing complex data to a variety of audiences;**
+ **Experience creating presentations and presenting to a variety of audiences.**
