Job Summary and Qualifications

An Echocardiographer tech is a cardiovascular technologist who specializes in using non-invasive imaging technology to analyze a patient's heart, specifically the function of its veins, arteries, chambers, and valves. Here is some of what you can expect from being an Echo Technologist with us:

+ You will be responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills and providing quality diagnostic results.

+ You will perform echocardiograms, stress tests and other diagnostic tests and procedures in accordance with established procedures for patients from adolescent through geriatric.

+ You will be responsible for data and charge entry data preparation for physician interpretation.

Required Qualifications:

+ BCLS required upon hire.

+ Registered Adult Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or registry eligible within one year of hire required.

+ Registered Pediatric Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or registry eligible within one year of date of hire preferred.

+ CCI may be considered.

+ Successful completion of an AMA/ACCA approved training program.

+ Minimum of 3 years recent hospital or clinical experience preferred.

+ Adult experience required.

+ Pediatric experience preferred.
