Job Summary and Qualifications

The CCL Lab ARRT performs the role of circulator assist, scrub assist, monitor and all aspects of documentation. The ARRT is responsible for inventory management, supply charging and troubleshooting of all equipment. Procedures performed using Fluoroscopy and the ARRT must have understanding of radiation safety. In addition, the ARRT also provides guidance and communication staff involved in the procedure and support the physician and other medical personnel involved in the procedure and post procedure.

What you will do in this role:

+ Scrub, monitor and assist circulating all cardiovascular procedures including: coronary angiograms, percutaneous coronary interventions requiring balloon and stent products, IABP insertions, Impella, FFR rotational atherectomy and CTO procedures, device implants including, temporary and permanent pacemaker, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, CardioMEMs and all diagnostic/therapeutic maneuvers associated with the above procedures.

+ Maintain competence of all steps required in the high-level disinfection process for the department.

+ Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for patient populations served in his/her department

+ Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs

+ Maintain a safe work environment

+ Must maintain current competency for ACT monitoring

What qualifications you will need:

+ Graduate of an accredited ARRT program

+ BS or RCIS preferred

+ 2 years acute care, 1 year Critical Care experience preferred or Cath and/or EP lab experience preferred

+ ARRT licensure

+ American Heart Association BLS, ACLS

+ Call rotation required

What you will do in this role:

Parkridge East Hospital is a 120+ bed facility in East Ridge. We provide a full range of medical and surgical services. These services include orthopedics and robotic surgery. We have a 24/7 Emergency Department. This ED is recognized by the Society of Chest Pain Centers as an Accredited Chest Pain Center. The facility also offers obstetrical care and complex gynecological procedures. We also hold a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Specialized providers in the NICU include neonatologists, neonatal nurses and respiratory therapists. These staff are on site at all times. Visit us for excellent general and OB care!
