• Accounting Manager

    Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Smyrna, Georgia. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial processes, managing accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of key accounting systems.     Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and refine accounting processes to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.

    • Audit and resolve system inconsistencies, identifying and addressing hidden issues.

    • Manage 835 applications and ensure proper handling of accounts receivable workflows.

    • Generate and analyze ad hoc reports to support decision-making and financial planning.

    • Optimize reporting within PioneerRx, ensuring data accuracy and usability.

    • Reconcile third-party receivables within the PioneerRx system.

    • Collaborate with the Point of Sale team to streamline financial transactions and reporting.

    • Monitor and improve pharmacy-related accounting functions to ensure compliance and efficiency. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

    • Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and financial reconciliation processes.

    • Familiarity with pharmacy operations and associated accounting practices.

    • Experience with PioneerRx or similar accounting systems is highly preferred.

    • Proficiency in generating and interpreting ad hoc financial reports.

    • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

    • Strong communication and organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
