Description

Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare and workers’ compensation space, is urgently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Litigation Paralegal to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This is a fully remote position with a fast-moving hiring process.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage and organize large volumes of medical records for litigation support

+ Draft, issue, and track subpoenas to healthcare providers, employers, and other third parties

+ Follow up on outstanding subpoena responses and ensure timely collection of documents

+ Summarize and index medical records for attorney review

+ Assist attorneys with discovery, including document preparation, requests, responses, and production

+ Prepare chronologies and timelines based on case documents and medical data

+ Maintain and update case files in accordance with legal and firm protocols

+ Monitor and manage litigation deadlines and ensure all filings are timely

+ Conduct fact-checking and review of documents for accuracy and completeness

+ Communicate with medical providers, court staff, and other legal professionals to coordinate document production and scheduling

+ Utilize legal case management software to track case progress and document workflow

Requirements

Requirements:

+ 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience (healthcare or workers' compensation strongly preferred but not required)

+ Familiarity with subpoena preparation and medical records handling

+ Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

+ Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, remote environment

+ Tech-savvy with proficiency in legal software and document management systems
