Summary
The role involves building integration services to transport and transform data across multiple systems using various development tools. Responsibilities include maintaining, integrating, and implementing software applications within the organization, coordinating software testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, and support to ensure smooth implementation of new software and updates. The position also ensures proper controls over test and production systems and software source code.
Additionally, the role plays a key part in designing, planning, and supporting server environments. The Administrator is responsible for implementing new technology and leading IT projectsacross departments. This position requires a highly experienced and self-motivated individual capable of performing technical server administrative functions to ensure the reliability of SRP systems.
What You'll Do
+ Designs, builds, tests, and supports enterprise integration applications and services.
+ Develops data messaging formats aligned with internal standards and industry best practices.
+ Installs, configures, and supports integration development tools and vendor software (Windows/Linux).
+ Writes and executes test plans; troubleshoots production issues for critical applications.
+ Writes SQL queries across SQL Server, Oracle, and Snowflake environments.
+ Manages and supports infrastructure for integration applications.
+ Deploys, provisions, and maintains servers in hybrid (on-prem/cloud) environments.
+ Monitors and ensures server health, performance, and stability.
+ Performs day-to-day system administration and advanced server troubleshooting.
+ Automates tasks using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
+ Maintains server security through patching and upgrades.
+ Delivers technical documentation including requirements and design specs.
+ Leads and participates in departmental and cross-functional IT projects.
+ Applies SRP and IT methodologies to deliver solutions.
+ Plans future enhancements and software releases.
+ Provides technical support for various applications and infrastructure tools.
+ Coordinates with internal IT teams (Networking, Server, Database, Desktop).
+ Collaborates with business groups on enhancements and communicates production issues.
+ Participates in 24x7 on-call rotation.
+ Performs design reviews and ensures adherence to standards.
+ Develops and maintains disaster recovery and contingency plans.
+ Documents technical processes and procedures.
What It Takes To Succeed
• Proficient in supporting software development and/or data engineering
• Proficient working in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible and willing to step in and provide hands-on assistance as needed
• Good self-discipline, accountability, and responsibility to work environment
• Able to gather comprehensive information to support decision-making
• Support and represent SRP in a professional manner at all times
• Adaptable to interpersonal style to suit different people or situations
• Experience in Microsoft Azure DevOps a plus
• Experience in IIS is a plus
• SQL experience is a plus
• C#, JavaScript, or Python experience is a plus
• Knowledge of the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) or distribution management systems is a plus
Experience
• For a Level 1 (Associate), a minimum of no previous years of experience to two years related experience is required (if no degree, four-six years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience totaling four-six years).
• For a Level 2 (Journey), a minimum of two years of experience to four years related experience is required (if no degree, six-eight years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience totaling six-eight years).
• For a Level 3 (Senior), a minimum of five years of related experience is required (if no degree, nine years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience totaling nine years).
Education
A bachelor’s degree related to the assignment from an accredited institution is preferred.
Hybrid Workplace
SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
