    ESTIMATED PAY RANGE

    $78,000 - $95,000, DOE

    JOB SUMMARY

    As an Electrical Software Test Engineer in Fargo, ND, you may: create tests from analyzing requirements and technical specifications; read and analyze CAN (J1939) messages using CANalyzer; support and procure parts and testing equipment as needed; read electrical schematics; complete tests and troubleshooting on issues found during testing; report and track issue resolution; create and manage Python scripts for testing automation; complete complex analysis on large volumes of data;  collaborate with other engineers to create and execute a software validation plan, and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical/Computer/Software Engineering required

    + A minimum of three two of previous engineering experience required

    + Experience troubleshooting Software/Electrical problems required

    + Familiarity with the design/validation process, including test creation and execution, required

    + Proficiency with CANalyzer and/or Python strongly preferred

    + Previous experience with telematics a plus
