Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Test Engineer to join one of our largest automotive clients out of Dearborn, Michigan. This person will be joining a team that utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide a seamless and efficient customer experience for their dealers and customers. As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying, and documenting defects, and collaborating with the development team to ensure the highest quality product. Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, covering positive, negative, and alternative flows. Identify and document software defects and quality risks, and work with the development team to resolve them. Experience testing within Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, in a fast-paced environment. Proven experience writing and running automated test scripts using C# and Selenium. Develop automation scripts, test, debug and execute. Strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly and concisely summarize key findings for management. Ability to independently drive projects to completion and work within the full software development life cycle. Understanding of CRM functionalities and experience working with GitHub. Experience coordinating test activities with project teams. Ability to track defects and assign them to the appropriate team for resolution. Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance. Familiarity with Jira for project management and task tracking.

$35/hr to $55/hr : Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

- 5 years of experience in Software Testing

- Previous experience testing with atleast one CRM system

- Experience with C# and Selenium for automated test scripts

- Bachelors Degree - Microsoft Dynamics experience

- Previous Ford experience null
