Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a data management specialist to join the Gas Transmission Projects team at one of the largest utility companies in the Northeast.

This is a 6-month contract opportunity taking place on a hybrid basis in the Bronx; this position may be eligible for extensions or conversion to full time employment contingent on performance and the need of the business.

On a tight knit team, this person will be responsible for data mining, cleaning, and verification on previously completed projects to ensure accuracy. This person may be coding in Microsoft VBA and/or Microsoft Power Suite as well. To be successful in this role, we are looking for an organized self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment. There is potential for conversion and/or extension at the end of this assignment.

Skills and Requirements

- 2+ years of experience as a data analyst performing data cleaning, verification, and mining

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

- Familiar with Microsoft Sharepoint

- Strong experience with Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables) - Engineering Bachelor's degree preferred

- Coding experience with Microsoft Suite VBA and/or Microsoft Power Suite

- Familiarity with code requirements from Public Service Commission and Federal requirements null
