    Description

    We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial services to clients, including general accounting tasks, tax preparation and financial analysis. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects in a detail-oriented and collaborative environment.

    Responsibilities:

    + Work collaboratively with team leaders to finalize tax filings, conduct financial evaluations, and assist with specialized client projects.

    + Prepare and compile income tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring all necessary supporting documents are included.

    + Post adjustments to trial balances, reconcile discrepancies, and verify accuracy.

    + Manage administrative and client-focused tasks with precision and care.

    + Uphold strict confidentiality of client data, complying with legal requirements and company policies.

    + Execute tasks efficiently, with an expected workload of around 55 hours weekly during busy seasons and 40-45 hours during slower periods.

    + Assist with additional responsibilities and projects as needed to meet client objectives.

    Requirements

    + Demonstrated expertise in reconciling accounts and balance sheets.

    + Solid understanding of bank reconciliation, general ledger maintenance, and preparing journal entries.

    + Skilled in Microsoft Excel and experienced with accounting platforms like NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.

    + Hands-on experience with month-end close procedures and creating financial reports.

    + Outstanding attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.

    + Willingness to work additional hours during busy periods.

    + Dedicated to ensuring confidentiality while upholding accuracy and ethical standards.
