    Description

    Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts receivable (AR) process, including invoicing, payment collection, and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a customer-service mindset.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Generate and distribute accurate customer invoices in a timely manner.

    + Track and record incoming payments, ensuring correct application to outstanding invoices.

    + Reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy in records and resolve discrepancies.

    + Monitor delinquent accounts and initiate collections processes by contacting clients regarding outstanding payments.

    + Prepare AR aging reports, cash flow analysis, and other financial reports as required.

    + Serve as a point of contact for customer payment inquiries and resolution of billing issues.

    + Ensure compliance with company standards and accounting regulations, including proper documentation and recordkeeping.

    + Work closely with internal stakeholders in accounting, sales, and customer service to coordinate AR-related activities.

    Requirements

    + 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or related roles.

    + Familiarity with B2B and B2C AR collections processes is preferred.

    + Associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not required).

    + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.

    + Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients and internal teams.

    + Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to meet deadlines.

    + Familiarity with GAAP standards and accounts receivable best practices is a plus.
