Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to oversee the end-to-end processes of accounts payable and accounts receivable. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely processing of transactions. Based in Jonesboro, Arkansas, this opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in financial management.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payments, and cash application.

• Oversee billing and collections activities to ensure timely and accurate transactions.

• Monitor and analyze account coding practices to maintain compliance with accounting standards.

• Implement and maintain financial controls within AP/AR operations to prevent errors and discrepancies.

• Utilize accounting software systems, such as Concur and ADP, to streamline data processing and reporting.

• Ensure accurate accrual accounting and auditing practices are followed for financial reporting.

• Manage automated clearing house (ACH) transactions and ensure proper reconciliation.

• Resolve discrepancies and disputes related to vendor payments and customer accounts.

• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance operational efficiency and financial accuracy.

• Provide training and guidance to team members to uphold high performance standards.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable management.

• Proficient in accounting software systems such as Concur and ADP.

• Strong knowledge of accrual accounting principles and auditing procedures.

• Demonstrated expertise in account coding and financial data processing.

• Experience managing automated clearing house (ACH) transactions.

• Familiarity with financial services processes and best practices.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
