Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team in Palm City, Florida. In this role, you will oversee essential accounting operations, ensure the accuracy of financial reporting, and provide support for HR and payroll functions. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is eager to manage a diverse set of responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounts payable process, including invoice entry, approval workflows, vendor communication, and timely payment execution.

• Oversee bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and reconciling payroll-related accounts.

• Support HR functions by assisting with onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel records, and managing HR documentation.

• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, preparing journal entries and adjustments as needed.

• Perform reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, bank statements, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Compile and prepare financial data for internal and external reporting, meeting all required deadlines.

• Coordinate with external auditors by preparing audit schedules and providing necessary documentation during the annual audit.

• Monitor and improve financial processes to enhance operational efficiency and compliance. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Enterprise.

• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.

• Experience with payroll systems and basic HR administrative tasks.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
