We are looking for a skilled Paralegal to join a well-established law firm in Norfolk, Virginia, specializing in personal injury cases. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong background in managing high-volume caseloads and a commitment to excellence in legal support. Responsibilities:

• Prepare legal documents such as complaints and responses to discovery requests.

• Conduct thorough trial preparation, ensuring all materials and evidence are organized and ready.

• Collaborate with attorneys to manage high-volume personal injury cases effectively.

• Utilize case management software to maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.

• Oversee claim administration processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

• Manage calendars to track important deadlines and court dates.

• Assist with briefing and other legal research tasks as needed.

• Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to provide updates and gather information.

Requirements • A minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or a related legal field.

• Proficiency in case management software and other legal technology tools.

• Strong skills in drafting legal documents, including complaints and discovery responses.

• Excellent organizational abilities to handle high-volume caseloads efficiently.

• Attention to detail and a diligent approach to trial preparation.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• A proactive work ethic with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Familiarity with billing functions and legal procedures related to personal injury law.
