The*Montana Department of Transportation (MDT)*is recruiting for a Program Manager - Aeronautics. This position is responsible for establishing, managing, and implementing Aeronautics Division programs, projects, grants, and data. Manage, research, and design new programs. Responsible for planning the annual Montana Aviation Conference. This position reports to the Safety and Education Bureau Chief and does not supervise others. May be trained to be on-call as a search and rescue coordinator, depending on qualifications, approximately one week per month.**House Bill 13, passed by the 2025 State Legislature, will include an increase to the base pay for this position by $1.00 per hour or 2.5%, whichever isgreater, beginning July 1, 2025. This position works in the Aeronautics Division office which is located on the Helena Regional Airport.
