Senior Materials Management Analyst
As a Senior Materials Management Analyst here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the success of the materials management process and team. Your primary objectives will include optimizing supply chain efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support our production schedules. You will use your analytical skills, deep understanding of inventory management systems, and a strategic approach to sourcing and procurement.
You will report directly to our Planning Manager, and you'll work out of our Muncie, IN location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the company's bottom line by reducing operational expenses and ensuring a constant flow of materials for production. Your proactive approach to materials management contributes significantly to meeting production deadlines, enhancing overall business resilience, and customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules
+ Analyze inventory management systems and facilitate strategic sourcing and procurement strategies
+ Drives the Implementation of the site RM PFEP Processes
+ Sets Stocking and Replenishment Strategies Push vs Pull to support Maximum Service with Minimum Inventories to meet AOP
+ Own and Ensuring material master accuracy
+ Ensuring materials plan is accurate and current
+ Identify MOQ/EOQ/Lot sizes outside of entitlement and working with Strategic Sourcing to resolve
+ Work closely with Commodity management to address supply availability for constrained commodities and provide recommended solutions
+ Active participant in std transition processes
+ Identify and solve problems in and out of the immediate work area independently and ensure materials are ordered and in stock to meet supply requirements of the backlog
+ Lead/participate continuous improvement projects/kaizens
+ Continuously improve material management processes to drive better business results
+ Other responsibilities assigned

YOU MUST HAVE
+ 6+ years of experience in materials management & procurement
+ Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Excellent communication and negotiation skills
WE VALUE
+ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
+ Experience in optimizing supply chain processes
+ Proficiency in materials management software, SAP, and ERP systems
+ CPIM certifications
