    Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in recruitment and retention efforts. Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure a seamless hiring process and a positive onboarding experience for new team members, interns, mentors, contractors, and volunteers. Your expertise in sourcing candidates through various channels will be invaluable, as will your ability to manage job postings and social media career pages. You will be responsible for creating requisitions, interview guides, offer letters, and compliance tracking. Your commitment to maintaining regular communication with new hires will ensure their smooth transition into our organization.

    Responsibilities

    + Collaborate with HR leadership and management on recruitment and retention strategies.

    + Source candidates through networking, referrals, and career fairs.

    + Manage internal and external job postings and social media career pages.

    + Create and update requisitions, interview guides, and offer letters.

    + Conduct bg checks in accordance with legal requirements.

    + Perform reference checks and provide detailed candidate information to hiring managers.

    + Guide new hires through onboarding and pre-employment testing.

    + Maintain personnel files electronically and conduct audits as necessary.

    + Communicate with new hires throughout the onboarding process.

    + Report and communicate with managers on recruitment status and effectiveness.

    + Generate and analyze recruitment reports to support workforce needs.

    + Organize and attend job fairs to attract talent.

    + Research recruitment trends and implement best practices.

    + Collaborate on offboarding activities and support talent management initiatives.

    + Promote organizational culture and core values to potential candidates.

    + Collect and maintain EEO information for reporting purposes.

    Essential Skills

    + Talent acquisition and full cycle recruiting experience.

    + Knowledge of HR standards such as FLSA, EEOC, and ADA.

    + Intermediate proficiency in HRIS systems and Excel.

    + Basic understanding of Word and Microsoft Outlook.

    + Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity.

    + Independent and self-motivated problem-solving skills.

    + High level of verbal and writing skills.

    + Bachelor’s Degree required, with junior college training preferred.

    + 2 to 5 years of related experience.

     

    Work Environment

     

    This role requires presence in the office every day, providing a collaborative environment to engage with team members and candidates effectively.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
