Job Title: Machinist (2nd shift)
Job Description
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating, setting up, and editing a variety of lathe machinery, specifically Haas. You will play a vital role in mentoring new operators and ensuring the efficient use of live tooling. Your expertise in heavy blueprint reading, quality tool usage, and live tooling will be essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
+ Operate, set up, and edit Haas lathe machinery.
+ Assist and mentor new operators on machinery.
+ Perform heavy blueprint reading and utilize quality tools.
+ Conduct quality checks using micrometres and calipers.
+ Utilize live tooling effectively.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints.
+ Experience with CNC mill and lathe.
+ Knowledge of g&m codes and programming.
+ Minimum of 5 years of CNC setup experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with Swiss machine brands such as Mira.
+ Experience with grinders and SurfCam programming.

Work Environment
Work in a dynamic job shop environment responsible for centerless grinding, CNC machining, and metal finishing across various markets and industries. With over 30 years in business, the company is committed to growth and success. Choose between the 1st shift from 6am-3:30pm or the 2nd shift from 1:30pm-12am (4 10-hour days, Monday to Thursday).

This is a Permanent position based out of Richfield, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $62000.00/yr.
