Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with reactionary and proactive maintenance, as well as installations of new equipment. The role involves working on various systems such as injection molding machines, conveyors, hydraulics, PLCs, robotics, electrical systems, pneumatic systems, chiller systems, air dryers, and welding/fabrication.

Responsibilities

+ Perform maintenance on injection molding machines.

+ Conduct conveyor maintenance, repair, and complete belt replacements.

+ Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps and hoses.

+ Perform PLC troubleshooting using ladder logic to debug machines.

+ Repair and maintain robotics, particularly 6-axis robotics.

+ Follow LOTO procedures for safety compliance.

+ Conduct electrical maintenance, including 480V systems, schematic reading, rewiring, and wire pulling.

+ Maintain pneumatic systems by replacing filters, checking for leaks, repairing and replacing cylinders, and lubricating seals.

+ Service chiller and air dryer systems.

+ Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Maintenance or Electrical Degree with 3-4 years of experience.

+ Mechanical skills in hydraulics and pneumatics.

+ Electrical skills in 480V systems.

+ Experience with robotics.

+ Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Plastics background is beneficial.

+ Experience with Allen-Bradley systems.

+ Capability in preventive maintenance.

Work Environment

This position operates on a night shift schedule from 7pm to 7am, following a 2-2-3 pattern. The work environment is hot and loud, with a noticeable plastic smell. It is non-climate controlled. The dress code allows t-shirts, hoodies without strings, sweatshirts, sleeveless tops, and casual bottoms like jeans and shorts. Closed-toe, rubber sole shoes are required, and any offensive tattoos or hair color will be addressed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bardstown, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $33.00/hr.
