Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

The Production Worker will be responsible for storing and gathering production tools and accessories for machines to support the needs of the production team. The role involves inspecting and troubleshooting problems with tooling, performing basic tool assembly, and conducting preventive maintenance such as cleaning, polishing, and grinding. Candidates will spend their entire shift on their feet, moving around the tool room to gather necessary parts and tools.

Responsibilities

+ Store and gather production tools and accessories for machines.

+ Inspect and troubleshoot tooling problems.

+ Perform basic tool assembly.

+ Conduct preventive maintenance, including cleaning, polishing, and grinding.

+ Move around the tool room to gather necessary parts and tools.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical inclination.

+ Experience in assembly and tool room operations.

+ General labor skills.

+ Machine operating skills.

+ Production experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to use hand tools, gauges, and indicators to ensure tooling is working properly.

+ Proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication in English.

+ Related work experience in assembly, inspection, setup, repair, and troubleshooting of tooling, molds, and related accessories.

+ Experience in disassembly, assembly, and repair of mechanical components.

Work Environment

Work shifts are available on the 1st shift from 7:00am to 3:00pm, and the 3rd shift from 11:00pm to 7:00am. Tool room technicians will work with one other employee in the tool room and may assist in other areas as needed. The dress code requires steel toe shoes or boots, no hoodies, strings, loose clothing, and specific guidelines for headwear. Shorts are allowed but must be mid-thigh or longer, and shirts must have sleeves. Religious headwear is acceptable if athletic styled in company colors of blue, gray, or a solid color with no logo. Candidates must remove nail polish, fake nails, fake eyelashes, body piercings, and all jewelry.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
