    As a Construction Safety Specialist, you will ensure the highest standards of health and safety management are implemented across our construction sites. You will provide guidance to lease providers and general contractors to achieve and maintain these standards throughout the project.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in educating and identifying High-Risk Activities to lease providers and construction contractors.

    + Monitor collaborative planning related to identified High-Risk Activities.

    + Track Key Safety Performance Indicators as they relate to health and safety.

    + Assess health and safety implications of situational changes during the project.

    + Stop work when dangerous activities are observed and inform appropriate supervision.

    + Enhance construction safety management processes through active participation in various health and safety meetings.

    + Monitor and report on site health and safety planning effectiveness.

    + Conduct high-level reviews of Risk Assessment and Method Statements.

    + Review accidents, incidents, and near-miss reports, implementing corrective measures.

    + Promote health and safety initiatives and contractor participation in recognition schemes.

    + Report regularly to site and EHS representatives on activities and challenges.

    + Conduct a minimum of three daily observations and one weekly site inspection report.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior role with relevant construction health and safety management experience.

    + Proven experience in construction safety management or related field.

    + Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations.

    + Previous experience in data center construction and operations.

    + Extensive experience in contractor communication and liaising with design teams.

    + Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and cloud-based applications.

    + Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + OSHA 10, 30, and 500 certifications preferred.

    + NFPA 70E Training.

    + Safety certification such as CSP or CHST preferred.

    + Bilingual in English and the primary language spoken in the assigned country.

    + Formal education in construction safety, general industry safety, health safety management, or similar discipline.

    + Membership in a recognized health and safety organization, preferably at chartered status.

    Work Environment

    The role requires a visible on-site presence, active participation in safety-related meetings, and regular reporting. You will work in a dynamic construction site environment, collaborating with multiple teams to ensure safety compliance and improvement.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
