Position Summary- We are looking for:
+ The Materials Cluster Product Stewardship organization is embedded in the Corporate Industrial Function, but interacts closely with multiple functions within Composites providing regulatory expertise and guidance to the businesses.
+ This position will report to the Product Stewardship Operations Manager for Composites.
+ The position will be part of a global team responsible for TSCA compliance, SDS and GHS Label creation and maintenance, raw material management, etc.
+ The position accountabilities described below are specific to supporting the Composites business within the Materials Cluster.
Position Accountabilities-We count on you for:
+ Responsible for SDS (using MDM-SharePoint system), label requests, and Dangerous Goods (DG) activities including DG classifications, DG fill and application for special authorizations.
+ Supports logistics related to DG Blocks on orders, delivery, and shipment transactions in SAP.
+ Submits applications and renewal applications to DOT (PHMSA) and other local Competent Authority for transport approvals of self-reactive.
+ Responsible for TSCA compliance including: export notifications (12b), import certifications TSCA R&D exemptions, work together with the Product Steward for Composites for CDR reporting, etc.
+ Collaborate with TERA representative(s) on classification and labeling of raw materials and products and testing strategies for commercial products.
+ Respond to Product Stewardship requests from both internal and external customers related to SDS, composition and/or classifications of products, labels, and import certificates.
+ Drive continuous improvement to streamline processes, improve data consistency, and increase collaborative efforts amongst Composites Team Members.
+ Backup for Gatekeeper block resolution (Americas). Communicate with the business on any blocks that are unable to be removed for regulatory reasons.

You will bring:
+ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Product Stewardship or Regulatory
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or other technical discipline
Preferred Education
+ Knowledge of SAP a plus
+ Dangerous Goods certification a plus
+ Understanding of thermoplastic, thermoset and/or polymer chemistry a plus
+ Customer Focus
+ Strong communication skills
+ Self-direction/initiative
+ Attention to detail
+ Works independently with minimal supervision.
+ Strong ability to multi-task
+ Basic knowledge of export control a plus

+ The base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position will be $84,960 to $118,700 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
