Salary Range:
$179,800.00 - $299,600.00
This pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation that the position offers, and final compensation can vary within the range depending on work location, job experience, skills, and relevant educational attainment and/or training.
_Sales Director, Americas – CONNECT Platform_
_Location: Americas (_ _Hybrid_ _with travel)_
_Reports To: VP, CONNECT Platform_
_About the Role_
_As Sales Director for the CONNECT Platform in the Americas, you will lead a high-impact team responsible for accelerating_ _revenue and_ _adoption of_ _AVEVA’s next-generation industrial intelligence platform. This is a mission-critical leadership role focused on building and scaling enterprise customer relationships, unlocking new revenue streams, and translating platform value into commercial outcomes._ _You’ll_ _bring together enterprise sales excellence, customer-centric execution, and a team-first mindset to shape the next phase of AVEVA’s growth._
_Key Responsibilities_
+ Lead, coach, and develop a team of high-performing enterprise sellers and commercial growth managers to meet and exceed ARR and adoption goals for the CONNECT Platform.
+ Drive execution of the go-to-market strategy across the Americas, including refining territory plans, prioritizing high-value accounts, and scaling platform-centric sales motions.
+ Own regional pipeline and forecast accuracy, ensuring consistent reporting, health metrics, and accountability across your team.
+ Guide complex sales cycles with key customers—personally engaging with executives to co-create value and unlock cross-sell and upsell opportunities across AVEVA’s portfolio.
+ Leverage AVEVA global alliances (e.g., Microsoft, SAP, IBM, Accenture) and local partner relationships that can positively influence the purchase of CONNECT products and services.
+ Build organizational readiness by mentoring team members on value-based selling, MEDDPICC discipline, and strategic account planning.
+ Partner cross-functionally with Product, R&D, Regional Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Partnerships, Sales Operations, and others to refine messaging, improve conversion, and feedback market insights.
+ Champion the platform vision both internally and externally—energizing customers, partners, and internal stakeholders around how CONNECT drives business transformation.
+ Recruit, onboard, and retain world-class commercial talent in the region, modeling AVEVA’s values of impact, inclusion, and innovation.

+ Exceeding regional ARR targets for CONNECT Platform solutions
+ Advancing platform-led customer expansions across AVEVA’s install base
+ Building an accountable, high-performing, and engaged sales team
+ Leading customers from initial interest to meaningful value realization
+ Shaping a repeatable, scalable enterprise sales playbook for CONNECT
_About You_
+ 8-10+ years in sales leadership roles in complex, B2B enterprise software environments
+ Proven success leading teams selling platform, SaaS, or cloud-native solutions
+ Comfortable in ambiguity and energized by building, not just optimizing
+ Strategic thinker with strong operational discipline—can zoom in and out of executive and detailed views
+ Deep experience with enterprise sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPIN)
+ Inspirational leader and coach with a strong sense of accountability and urgency
+ Strong executive presence; adept at executive communication and influencing C-level stakeholders
+ Industrial market experience (e.g. energy, manufacturing, infrastructure, etc.)

Hybrid working
By default, employees are expected to be in their local AVEVA office three days a week, but some positions are fully office-based. Roles supporting particular customers or markets are sometimes remote.
