    Job opportunity at major medical device company! Our client is looking for a Conversion Operator to join their ever growing team.

     

    **Location:** St. Paul, MN

    **Pay:** $26-33/HR

    **Shift:** 1st Shift, M-Th 5am-3:30pm

    Responsibilities:

    + Leading a team of associates that may be assigned to your press to ensure that they are inspecting, catching, stacking, bagging etc. to meet the requirements of specific project you are running.

    + Evaluating the team and making adjustments to what they are doing to efficiently process product on press.

    + Communicate rate deficiencies to management per prescribed procedures.

    + Perform quality inspections per Quality Department procedures and Engineering work instructions and document results.

    + Accurate entries in the computer time clock system.

    + Accurate documentation of inspection.

    + Responsible for escalating issues to the technical lead, lead or advisor if associates assigned to your project are not performing the duties you have assigned.

    + Responsible for escalating when material usage or time allotted for set up are being exceeded.

    Requirements:

    + High School education or equivalent

    + 5-7 or more years Rotary Press experience and or technical training from accredited trade school.

    + Able to accurately understand and interpret basic prints.

    + Proficient PC skills, Microsoft office products.

    + Medical manufacturing experience a plus.

    + Lean manufacturing experience a plus to include 5s, S.M.E.D., continuous improvement.
