Job Overview
We are seeking an outstanding Campus Director of Nutrition to join our team at **Jones-Harrison Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Residence** in Minneapolis!
The **Director of Nutrition and Culinary** is responsible for the coordination of the Culinary & Nutrition Services Department for a established care center near cedar lake in Minneapolis, MN. Responsibilities include overseeing all dining services and ensuring that meals are prepared and presented in accordance with regulations. Responsible for all staff within the department.

The Jones-Harrison community offers Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care with a beautiful view of Cedar Lake and pristine grounds. This community features 53 Assisted living, 9 memory care apartments, 120 skilled and long term care beds. Responsibilites
+ Plans and develops various menus in compliance with current regulations/requirements
+ Budget planning, record keeping and billing.
+ Establishes departmental regulations and procedures in conformance with government regulations and company standards for organization of supervision of nutrition services.
+ Audits serving areas, kitchen, kitchenettes, dining rooms and dish rooms for sanitation & regulatory compliance.
+ Hires & Supervises Culinary & Nutrition Services Staff
+ Preceptor for Students
Required Qualifications
+ Vocational/Technical Training or
+ Associate Degree
+ 1 year One to Three Years
+ Ability to use technology in the form of computer data entry and ability to navigate designated software program as well as hand held devices, work cell phones, printers and copy machines.
+ Certified Dietary Manager Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Dietetic Technician Certification (must obtain with 18 months of hire date) within 1-1/2 Yrs
+ Certified Food Manager Food Manager Certification
+ Approved Food Sanitation Safety Course. Accept Food Sanitation Safety Course from the following companies: Serv Safe Always Food Safe TAP Series, LLC Advanced Health Institute
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor of Science Bachelor's Degree: List – Registered Dietician and/or related field.
+ 3 years Three to Five Years
+ Supervisor & institutional cooking experience
+ Purchasing experience
